WATER RATIONING ORDINANCE APPROVED FOLLOWING PUBLIC MEETING ON AUGUST 21, 2021
The Board of Directors of the Stinson Beach County Water District approved unanimously a Water Rationing Ordinance following a public hearing at its August 21st monthly meeting. The ordinance includes rules and regulations for restricted water use allotments, a drought excess water use charge, and fines for exceeding the allowed allotment. The ordinance is identical to the drought ordinance adopted by the Board in 2014 following numerous public meetings.

If the District reaches the defined triggering point – “The seventh day in a row during which the average of all storage tanks have failed to refill to 70% of their capacity” – all customers will be notified by mail.
