Board of Directors - Regular Meeting
Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. Please note that this agenda is subject to change.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The Presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the
presence of a quorum.
B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION
Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not
on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this
time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on
the agenda. Speakers may be limited to two minutes each.
C. SETTING OF AGENDA
The Board may adopt or revise the agenda as presented.
D. PUBLIC HEARING
- Notice to Appear, review results of repair/replacement plan (failed septic system) presented to the Wastewater Committee at their meeting on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 and possible continuation of the abatement process, 90 Calle del Ribera, Account #0680, Giacomo A. Russo, Owner.
- Discussion and possible direction to staff re: a Variance Request for replacement of an existing septic system with an alternative type system, 25 Lincoln Avenue, Account #4800, Richard Howarth/Victoria Slaker, Owners.
- Review and adoption of an Operations and Maintenance Budget and Capital Improvement Program Budget for Fiscal Year 2015/2016. This item is continued from the last Board meeting on Saturday, May 16, 2015.
- Review and adoption of a Resolution Establishing an Employee Benefit Program for the Fiscal Year 2015/2016. This item is continued from the last Board meeting on Saturday, May 16, 2015.
E. GENERAL BUSINESS
- Consideration of a request for a one year extension of a Design Approval Permit and Variance for 4 Calle del Embarcadero, APN 195-132-03, Fabrizio Natale and Heidi Hjorth, Owners.
- Discussion and possible approval of a Digital Utility Mapping System of the 708 Septic Systems within the District.
- Review information from a workshop titled "Desalination Update for the West" from the California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), San Jose, CA, May 21, 2015.
- Discussion and possible direction to staff to dispose of two (2) surplus District pickup trucks to the highest bidder.
F. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Board will consider approval of draft minutes of the
May 16, 2015 meeting.
G. APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS
The Board will consider approval of disbursements for May 19 and June 5, 2015.
H. MANAGER'S REPORT
The General Manager may update the Board on current District projects, concerns and accomplishments.
I. COMMITTEE REPORTS/INFORMATION REVIEW
Members of the Board may report on their respective committees.
J. CORRESPONDENCE
The Board will review recent District correspondence.
K. ADJOURNMENT
The Board will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.

Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
