Stinson Beach County Water District
Board of Directors - Regular Meeting

Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. Please note that this agenda is subject to change.

A. CALL TO ORDER

The Presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the presence of a quorum.

B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION

Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on the agenda. Speakers may be limited to two minutes each.

C. SETTING OF AGENDA

The Board may adopt or revise the agenda as presented.

D. GENERAL BUSINESS

  1. Discussion and possible approval of a Billing Rate Increase for Hanson Bridgett LLP, the District's Legal Counsel.
  2. Consideration of an offer from Mr. Richard Reasoner and possible direction to staff to assist in preparing a training class for irrigation specialists.
  3. Discussion and possible revision of the District's Policy for Water Use Charge Reductions.
  4. Review the District’s Annual Public Water System Statistics Report. Possibly set up several special Finance Committee meetings to work with staff on a water audit to confirm "unaccounted for" water

E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

The Board will consider approval of draft minutes of the March 16, 2013 meeting.

F. APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS

The Board will consider approval of disbursements for March 11, March 14, and March 28, 2013.

G. MANAGER'S REPORT

The General Manager may update the Board on current District projects, concerns and accomplishments.

H. COMMITTEE REPORTS/INFORMATION REVIEW

Members of the Board may report on their respective committees.

I. CORRESPONDENCE

The Board will review recent District correspondence.

J. CLOSED DOOR SESSION

Annual Review of the General Manager's Contract and possible modifications to salary and/or benefits for the General Manager.

K. ADJOURNMENT

The Board will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.

Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
