Board of Directors - Regular Meeting
Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. Please note that this agenda is subject to change.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The Presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the
presence of a quorum.
B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION
Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not
on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this
time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on
the agenda. Speakers may be limited to two minutes each.
C. SETTING OF AGENDA
The Board may adopt or revise the agenda as presented.
D. PUBLIC HEARING
- Discussion and possible direction to staff re: a Waiver Request for replacing an existing septic system with an alternative type system, 145 Buena Vista Avenue, Account #3440, Derrickson’s Old Mill Property, LLC (c/o Ann Shulman, Owner).
- Discussion and possible direction to staff to implement a Stage II Water Conservation Alert.
E. GENERAL BUSINESS
- Discussion and possible direction to staff to issue a "Notice of Award" to Piazza Construction for the installation of the new water tank anchors at the Highlands #1 Water Tank Site.
- Discussion and possible direction to staff to purchase a replacement work truck from Putnam Commercial Truck Center.
- Discussion and possible direction to staff to place and record a lien on the improved property at 23 Calle del Sierra, Stinson Beach, owned by the foreclosure lender J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, Account #0320.
- Discussion and possible selection of a District representative to the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA)/Joint Powers Insurance Authority (JPIA).
F. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Board will consider approval of draft minutes of the
February 16, 2013 meeting.
G. APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS
The Board will consider approval of disbursements for February 13 and February 27, 2013
H. MANAGER'S REPORT
The General Manager may update the Board on current District projects, concerns and accomplishments.
I. COMMITTEE REPORTS/INFORMATION REVIEW
Members of the Board may report on their respective committees.
J. CORRESPONDENCE
The Board will review recent District correspondence.
K. ADJOURNMENT
The Board will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.

Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
