Board of Directors - Regular Meeting
Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 5:00 P.M. Please note that this agenda is subject to change.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The Presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the
presence of a quorum.
B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION
Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not
on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this
time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on
the agenda. Speakers may be limited to two minutes each.
C. SETTING OF AGENDA
The Board may adopt or revise the agenda as presented.
D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Board will consider approval of draft minutes of the
Saturday, July 18, 2009 meeting.
E. APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS
The Board will consider approval of disbursements for July 15, July 28, and August 11, 2009.
F. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The Board will receive financial statements for the previous quarter.
G. PUBLIC HEARING
- Consideration of Appeal of Revocation of Discharge Permit by Tim Peterson, 12 Marine Way. Continued from the Saturday, June 20, 2009 Board Meeting.
H. GENERAL BUSINESS
- Discussion and possible direction to staff re: a cost proposal from MASSA Construction Company for additional work at the District's Water Treatment Plant.
- Discussion and possible modifications to the District Operations Budget as recommended by the District Finance Committee.
- Presentation and discussion of the District's application for a Coastal Development Permit and Notice of Intent to Adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the drilling of a well at the District's Steep Ravine Tank site.
- Discussion and possible approval of a Records Retention Policy for the District.
- Discussion and possible direction to staff re: a plumbing fixture/rebate program survey of local Water and Utility Districts.
I. MANAGER'S REPORT
The General Manager may update the Board on current District projects, concerns and accomplishments.
J. COMMITTEE REPORTS/INFORMATION REVIEW
Members of the Board may report on their respective committees.
K. CORRESPONDENCE
The Board will review recent District correspondence.
L. ADJOURNMENT
The Board will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.

Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
