Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. Please note that this agenda is subject to change.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The Presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the
presence of a quorum.
B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION
Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not
on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this
time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on
the agenda. Speakers may be limited to two minutes each.
C. SETTING OF AGENDA
The Board may adopt or revise the agenda as presented.
D. OATH OF OFFICE FOR CANDIDATES APPOINTED

E. ELECTION OF DISTRICT BOARD PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT FOR 2009
F. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Board will consider approval of draft minutes of the
for November 15, 2008, meeting.
G. APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS
The Board will consider approval of disbursements for November 19th and December 3rd, 2008.
H. PUBLIC HEARING
- Discussion and possible action regarding: A Variance request for 380 Belvedere Ave., Account # 4940, Bruce Guile. The applicant seeks permission to replace the existing septic system with an alternative system. The applicant proposes tearing down the existing residence and building a new residence with less than the existing "conditioned" space of 2,874 sq.ft. with a peak daily flow of 300 gallons.
- Consideration of a request from Redwood Empire Disposal to raise garbage rates by 6.98% (No Franchise Fee Increase), continued from the November 15, 2008 Board Meeting.
I. GENERAL BUSINESS
- Discussion and possible direction to staff Re: a proposal from Stetson Engineers for permitting assistance, site geology research, specification writing, well construction oversight and well design for a new groundwater well at Steep Ravine Tank site.
J. MANAGER'S REPORT
The General Manager may update the Board on current District projects, concerns and accomplishments.
K. COMMITTEE REPORTS/INFORMATION REVIEW
Members of the Board may report on their respective committees.
L. CORRESPONDENCE
The Board will review recent District correspondence.
M. ADJOURNMENT
The Board will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.

Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
