Stinson Beach County Water District
Board of Directors - Workshop Meeting
Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at 5:00 P.M. Please note that this agenda is subject to change.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The Presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the
presence of a quorum.
B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION
Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not
on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this
time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on
the agenda. Speakers may be limited to two minutes each.
C. SETTING OF AGENDA
The Board may adopt or revise the agenda as presented.
D. CLOSED SESSION
- Conference with Legal Counsel - Anticipated Litigation: Initiation of litigation pursuant to subdivision ( c ) of Government Code Section 54956.9, one case.
- Annual Performance Review of General Manager: The Board and General Manager will meet in closed session under Government Code Section 54957.6 in order to review the General Manager's performance evaluation.
- Conference with Labor Negotiators: The Board will meet in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.8 Labor Negotiations. The Designated Employee Representative will meet with the Board to discuss items submitted by employees during the regular Meet and Confer.
E. RETURN TO OPEN SESSION
- Return to Open Session: The Board will return to open session and will disclose any actions taken as required by Government Code Section 54957.1.
F. GENERAL BUSINESS
- Review of Draft Budget for Fiscal 2005-2006: The Board will review the draft budget with revised rates and fees.
G. COMMITTEE REPORTS
Members of the Board may report on their respective committees.
H. MANAGER'S REPORT
The General Manager may update the Board on current District projects, concerns and accomplishments.
I. ADJOURNMENT
The Board will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.
Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
