Board of Directors - Regular Meeting
Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 9:30 A.M. Please note that this agenda is subject to change.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The Presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the
presence of a quorum.
B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION
Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not
on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this
time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on
the agenda. Speakers may be limited to two minutes each.
C. SETTING OF AGENDA
The Board may adopt or revise the agenda as presented.
D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Board will consider approval of draft minutes of the June 26, July 9,
and July 27, 2004 meetings.
E. APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS
The Board will consider approval of disbursements for the month of July, 2004.
F. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The Board will review the Financial Statements ending June 30, 2004.
G. PUBLIC HEARING
- Consideration/Adoption of a Draft Resolution Adopting a Reserve Fund Policy: The Board will consider a reserve fund policy.
- Introduction of Draft Title IV, Revised Wastewater Code, for Public Review: The Board will present the draft Code for public review and comment.
H. GENERAL BUSINESS
- Consideration of a Water Use Charge Reduction Request for Property Located at 120 Seadrift Road, AP# 195-151-10, Jon and Suzanne McMahon, Owners: The Board will consider granting a leak reduction request.
- Review of Status of Failed Wastewater Systems: The Board will review systems currently under Resolution directing the abatement of a nuisance.
I. COMMITTEE REPORTS
Members of the Board may report on their respective committees.
J. MANAGER'S REPORT
The General Manager may update the Board on current District projects, concerns and accomplishments.
K. ADJOURNMENT
The Board will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.
Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
