Stinson Beach County Water District
Board of Directors - Special Meeting

Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 5:00 P.M. Please note that this agenda is subject to change.

A. CALL TO ORDER

The Presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the presence of a quorum.

B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION

Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on the agenda. Speakers may be limited to two minutes each.

C. SETTING OF AGENDA

The Board may adopt or revise the agenda as presented.

D. PUBLIC HEARING

  1. Consideration/Adoption of a Draft Resolution Accepting the Fiscal 2002-2003 Audited Financial Statements: District Auditor, Mr. Terry Krieg, CPA, will present the Fiscal 2002-2003 Audited Financial Statements and the Report on Internal Control Structure and Compliance matters.

E. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

The Board will review the First Quarter Financial Statements at September 30, 2003.

F. GENERAL BUSINESS

  1. Discussion of Proposed Water Treatment Plants: The Board will review the presented systems and select units for proposal submittal.
  2. Review of Status of Failed Systems: The Board will review systems currently under a Resolution directing the abatement of a nuisance.
  3. Discussion of Mosquito Abatement Issue:

G. COMMITTEE REPORTS

Members of the Board may report on their respective committees.

H. MANAGER'S REPORT

The General Manager may update the Board on current District projects, concerns and accomplishments.

I. ADJOURNMENT

The Board will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.



Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
