Board of Directors - Regular Meeting
Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Saturday, September 20, 2003 at 9:30 A.M. Please note that this agenda is subject to change.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The Presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the
presence of a quorum.
B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION
Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not
on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this
time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on
the agenda. Speakers may be limited to two minutes each.
C. SETTING OF AGENDA
The Board may adopt or revise the agenda as presented.
D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Board will consider approval of draft minutes of the
August 16th, 2003 meetings.
E. APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS
The Board will consider approval of disbursements for the month of August, 2003.
F. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The Board will receive financial statements for the 2002-2003 Fiscal Year.
G. PUBLIC HEARING
- Consideration/Adoption of a Draft Resolution Granting a Variance for Property Located at 230 Belvedere Avenue, AP#195- 141-05, Chapin Day and Genetha Gray, Owners: The Board will consider a Variance request to utilize an alternative wastewater system.
H. GENERAL BUSINESS
- Consideration of a Water Use Charge Reduction Request for Property Located at 211 Dipsea Road, AP# 195-320-56, Robert and Yvonne Davies, Owners: The Board will consider granting of a leak reduction request.
- Review of Failed System Located at 28 Calle del Pinos: The Board will review the situation regarding a failed system currently under a Resolution Directing the to Abatement of a Nuisance.
- Review of the January - June, 2003 Semiannual Wastewater Report: The Board will review the report to be submitted to the State Water Quality Control Board.
I. COMMITTEE REPORTS
Members of the Board may report on their respective committees.
J. MANAGER'S REPORT
The General Manager may update the Board on current District projects, concerns and accomplishments.
K. ADJOURNMENT
The Board will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.
Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
