Stinson Beach County Water District
Board of Directors - Regular Meeting
Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Saturday, February 17, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. Please note that this agenda is subject to change.
A. CALL TO ORDER
The Presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members to determine the
presence of a quorum.
B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION
Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not
on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this
time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on
the agenda. Speakers may be limited to five minutes each.
C. SETTING OF AGENDA
The Board may adopt or revise the agenda as presented.
D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Board will consider approval of draft minutes of the
December 7, 2000 and January 10, 2001, meetings.
E. APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS
The Board will consider approval of disbursements for the month of January, 2001.
F. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The financial statements for the month of January will be
reviewed at the next Regular Meeting.
G. PUBLIC HEARING
- Introduction of Title 3, the Revised Water System Regulations for the Stinson Beach County Water District: Title III will be presented to the Board of Directors to begin the public review and comment period. A Draft Ordinance WW 2001-01, will be presented to the Board of Directors for adoption at the March 17, 2001 meeting.
- Schedule Public Hearing on Proposed Amendments to the SBCWD Water System Regulations: The Board will be asked to set a hearing on Saturday, March17, 2001 at 9:30 am on an Ordinance amending the Water System Regulations.
H. GENERAL BUSINESS
- Discussion of the Proposed Pipeline Replacement and Road Restoration to Blackrock Water Tanks: The General Manager will present the proposed plan for the waterline replacement and easement road renovation. The proposed plan will improve water distribution to the surrounding residents and improve Fire flow requirements. The existing easement road base will be rebuilt and reenforced to handle the proposed construction traffic when the District plans to replace the Blackrock Raw Water Tanks.
- Consideration/Adoption of Draft Resolutions Nominating JPIA Candidates: The JPIA (Joint Powers Insurance Authority) is requesting the SBCWD Board of Directors consider resolutions to nominate candidates for upcoming vacant JPIA Director seats.
I. COMMITTEE REPORTS
Members of the Board may report on their respective committees.
J. MANAGER'S REPORT
The General Manager may update the Board on current District projects, concerns and accomplishments.
K. ADJOURNMENT
The Board will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.
Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
